Introducing the new Kiki Bag by Elisabetta Franchi, the Kiki Bag resembles the structure of an ancient trunk, with a rectangular geometric shape. This collection, launched in October 2018, was inspired by nineteenth-century treasure chests and trunks, which were characterised with a lock in order to keep personal treasures safely inside. The name Kiki, in fact, recalls the K of the word “Keeper-locK” and shows a primary characteristic of the collection, the presence of a central lock framed by golden outlines, which also represents the classic colour of the brand. The Kiki is not only a bag, but an object of glamour and desire, where you can keep all your feminine necessities. The collection consists of a large size chest, a medium size chest which can even be used as a piece of furniture, two smaller Kiki Bags (one small and the other mini), a chest in clutch version, and finally, a Belt Bag to wear as a belt around the waist. The bags, excluding the decor chest and the Belt Bag, can be worn in the crook of the elbow or cross-body. They also have a removable handle or strap. The six proposed colours for this range are: black, poppy red, ivory, camel, gold and gianduja. Colours differ depending on the chosen model.
I will start by saying that all colours are very versatile and glamourous. I personally opted for the mini chest model in gold. Among the different proposals, gold is possibly the most adaptable colour to wear as it can be worn during the day with casual chic clothes, giving an outfit a touch of fashion, or in the evening, matched with an elegant dress. Moreover, gold goes great with a lot of colours! The tones best fitting with gold are light colours like white, beige and powder pink. Darker shades like emerald green and black are aslo perfectly compatable with this colour. The only colours that I wouldn’t recommend with this shade are red and yellow. The red-gold combination would be too Christmas like, while the yellow-gold combination would appear too muffled. Gold allows every look to shine with style and gives a glamour-chic touch to any outfit therefore being perfect even for summer nights. In this regard, I think that the choice of a Kiki with gold nuance can be very useful as this colour, besides being a current trend, is perfect to wear throughtout the year, from winter to summer. In addition to this, it makes all dresses seem more chic and sophisticated, highlighting their features.
The bag doesn’t have to be necessarily matched with the shoes, in fact, they can be of different colours and materials as long as the set is harmonic. For example, for a daytime look I wear my gold Kiki with my White/Cyber Metallic Adidas Superstar trainers which are white with metallic side stripes. https://www.adidas.com/us/superstar-shoes/CG5463.html
The Kiki can be hand-held or cross-body. The first way is suggested for formal and elegant occasions, whereas the strap is more useful to make the bag practical in casual situations. Personally I like wearing it by hand, almost as if it were a little royal trunk, a treasure to show off and guard with great care in my hands.
The cartoon video with which the bag has been presented recalls the enchanted world of fairy tales and Alice in Wonderland’s dream. In the video, Elisabetta Franchi meets the guardian, Mister Padlock, who will let her enter Wonderland and discover all the fantastic bags of the collection. Exactly for this connection with the world of fairy tales, the shape of the bag resembles that of a little treasure chest, an object which is always present in tales narrating about princesses and queens and of their dearest valuables. Moreover, the central lock in gold colour refers to the imaginary of the secret, as if the lock represented the entrance door to the precious world of every woman. The small trunk, made by one of my favourite maisons of Italian fashion, is conceived to give a glamourous and fairy-like touch to any look, whether it be to accompany us on an afternoon walk or to take with us to the disco party. Whether you use it as a jewellery box, or you flaunt it as a little jewel, the Kiki is designed to be one of the more desirable icon objects of the brand.
This bag, which I love very much, is ideal as a present to yourself, or as a gift for an elegant and determined woman, capable of appreciating fashion details. It is perfect for a birthday gift from one woman to another (sister, friend, daughter), as Kiki will immediately capture the feminine heart. Furthermore, the price is adequate to the Made in Italy design and to the high stylistic line. It is possible to choose your favourite bag in all monobrand boutiques as well as on the e-commerce site (shipping to the United States available for a limited time). So, what are you waiting for? Enter now into the Wonderland of Kiki and why not treat yourself!?

I am actually grateful to the owner of this web page who has shared this enormous
piece of writing at at this place.
Hi, I’m Alessia “the owner of the web page”… Thank you for your kind comment. Please continue following me, I’m planning to write many other posts on new fashion accessories.
Hello fantastic website! Does running a blog such
as this take a great deal of work? I’ve absolutely no understanding of computer programming however I was
hoping to start my own blog in the near future.
Anyhow, if you have any ideas or techniques for new blog owners please share.
I know this is off topic however I simply needed to ask.
Appreciate it!
Thank you very much for your kind compliments, I gave my ideas for the site to a web designer. The blog requires a certain commitment but for me it is a pleasure because I like what I do. The main part of work involves the search for topics to write about, writing posts, SEO optimization, social media management, choosing affiliations and photo shoots but if it is your passion it is an enjoyable job. I suggest you start thinking about ideas for your project and discuss them with a graphic designer and web developer.
Good luck with your project!
